Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about buying our prints & pictures online.

  • Q: What sizes are your prints available in?

    • A: We offer a variety of print sizes to suit your needs, commonly A6,  A5, A4 and A3. Not all are kept in stock and there is a lead time on certain sizes. You can find the available sizes listed on each product page.
  • Q: What type of paper do you use for your prints?

    • A: We use high-quality paper that is designed to resist fading and and colouring and will last for generations. While the specific paper type may vary depending on the print it is normally either 250 or 300 gsm (grams per square meter) and most commonly uncoated natural paper with no gloss finish. I will always detail this information on the product page.
  • Q: Do your prints come framed?

    • A: We offer some prints pre-framed for your convenience. However, because we ship internationally most prints are sold unframed to allow for customisation in the home. We recommend checking the product description to see if framing options are available.
  • Q: Can I customise a print?

    • A: Unfortunately, we don't currently offer custom print options. However, some of our artists may offer custom work through their own websites.
  • Q: How can I tell if an image is a high-resolution print?

    • A: We only use high-resolution images for our prints. There will be a product video on every page with close ups of the image so as you can see exactly what you will be getting. A tip is to view the image on a desktop computer. You can zoom in on the product image on our website to get a closer look at the quality.
  • Q: Who does your printing?

    • A: My printing is done by a local family firm that has a reputation for quality products.
  • Q: Why is there marks on the paper or a discoloured background?

    • A: My pictures and prints are authentic reproductions of originals and as such will have the colour and any blemishes reproduced. Any naivety in the original work will show through as will any mismatch in the original printing process. All pages will have a high resolution video of the product with close ups of the work.
  • Q: So you do drop shipping?

    • A: My printing is done by a local family firm and then shipped direct to you from my home in Yorkshire, there is no drop shipping involved.
  • Q: Is pricing in my local currency?

    • A: Not always. I sell from the UK and prices will be in (GBP) pound sterling. I use Snipcart to provide my online store and stripe to provide payment services and they do have a multi currency feature which will display a price in your region. Users in the EU, USA and Canada will see the prices in their local currency.
